BSN IsoBurn Review

IsoBurn is the companies first fat-burning protein powder mix, and is unique in the marketplace as a provider of clinically trialled LeptiCore, in addition to quality whey protein isolate.

The purpose of the powder is to enhance fat burning potential, whilst  promoting muscle recovery and retention. However, LeptiCoreR offers other benefits for general health, particularly with regards to cardiovascular health.  

BSN Isoburn promotes lean muscle repair, and is great for nutrition for recovery. This product is also decaffeinated, so you can use it day or night. Each serving contains only 120 calories. No guilt there.

The main ingredients in IsoBurn are 100% Whey Protein Isolate, L-Carnitine, LeptiCoreR and Green Coffee Extract. The whey protein is rapidly absorbed by the body and promotes protein synthesis for building muscle, along with supporting fat burning and decreasing the appetite.

The other ingredients have also been shown to stimulate weight loss and fat burning, while increasing energy and speeding up recovery post-workout. They beneficially influence appetite, improve satiety, and boost the metabolism.

And there are other benefits as well. The proprietary blend of natural ingredients found in LeptiCore have actually been extensively researched. A journal called Lipids in Health and Disease published a paper in 2010, where two different strengths of LeptiCoreR were trialed and compared to placebo.

Not only did this natural extract lead to significant fat loss, but also had some quite remarkable effects on LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, blood glucose levels and C-reactive protein.

This might all sound a bit like science-based gibberish. However, these types of blood chemistry changes help to reduce our risk of a number of chronic degenerative diseases. For instance, LDL cholesterol levels dropped by 15-20%, which is quite a staggering result. C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation, was reduced by 15-29%.

With one level 30g scoop of BSN Isoburn, there are 20 servings per container. Simply mix with 150 ml of water or milk, shake or blend. For best results, consume at least two servings daily.

BSN Isoburn Before or After Workout? 

Taking this product after exercise will provide your body with the nutrition it needs to support recovery. Because the whey protein is in isolate form, this is the perfect post-workout recovery companion. 

Unique in its combination of protein and fat loss ingredients, BSN IsoBurn is ideal for cutting, as it supports fat loss but also maintains and assists with muscle gains. The lack of stimulants is also a plus, as this allows you to use other supplements that contain stimulants at the same time for maximum effects.

As whey isolate is an extremely fast absorbing protein BSN IsoBurn can be used as a meal replacement or snack, but may not be ideal for replacing main meals.
