Herbs of Gold Macu-Guard is a potent formula that contains high concentrations of antioxidants and protects the eyes from oxidative damage. Herbs of Gold Macu-Guard contains lutein and zeaxanthin, which are two potent and naturally occurring antioxidants found in corn and egg yolks.

Bilberry, or Vaccinium myrtillus, was originally trialled by French scientists on Royal Air Force pilots during World War II. It is believed that this herbal medicine actually increases blood and oxygen delivery to the eye, and also assists with scavenging free-radicals that damage collagen structures, helping to prevent cataracts and macular degeneration¹. 

Bilberry is one of the richest sources of anthocyanins, which function as antioxidants. There are many other benefits of this herb, apart from supporting eye health, such as decreasing blood glucose and lipids and having an anti-inflammatory effect². Bilberry is often used to assist with night vision, eye strain and the general health of the macula.

How to Use Herbs of Gold Macu-Guard

Adults and Children over 12 years- Take 1 capsule, once or twice daily, with food or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
