Included in Horleys Protein 33 Low Carb Bars are quality protein in the form of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, hydrolysed collagen and calcium caseinate. Whey protein and soy protein are two of the best protein powders for stimulating muscle protein synthesis^1,2. This means they have a high biological value due to their essential amino acids content and digestability, in the right proportions to enter the cell and support anabolic activity.

Calcium caseinate is the second protein found in milk, along with whey protein. However, casein is well known for its satiety value, meaning that it is filling and sustains you for longer. The Protein 33 Bar contains hydrolysed collagen, which is a source of specialised amino acids, such as hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline.
