X50 Protein is a great tasting blend of lean whey protein in the form of isolate and concentrate. These protein sources—derived from milk—are of the highest biological value of any protein source and deliver a size-able payload of essential amino acids, nineteen per cent of which are branched chain amino acids. These essential amino acids (EAAs) are a foundation of optimal health and wellness. Though they are often used for muscle building programs, they offer numerous other health benefits.

A few examples of important uses of EAAs are for neurotransmitter synthesis—such as serotonin—thyroid hormones, such as T4 and T3, and enzymes (like the ones that digest protein!). EAAS are also perfect for the maintenance and building of muscle tissue, as they provide L-leucine, the trigger for mTOR, which primes the muscle for growth.
